Empowerment is a choice
Whether one has two doctorates, a masters degree or a host of other credentials is not important in today's world if you are not continually evolving.
Yes. I know it is a shocker to hear that all of those plaques on the wall and various honorifics are no longer important. But the world is evolving faster than ever before which means that even if are sitting in a comfortable chair with a laptop computer, someone else is using a tablet, someone else has even more advanced technology and your 11 year old is able to use all of those machines better than you can.
Evolution is your best solution!
Just like today's doctors and nurses have to take ongoing classes to keep up with evolving medical technology, you have to keep up with evolving communications technology.
Serving New Thought is constantly evolving new resources to enable the conscious minister to be on the forefront of the today's technology keeping ahead of the pack.
You can take the approach that being conscious about today's communication technologies is not important. You can simply choose to remain unconscious, but choosing to sleep only means that when you wake, you will be a modern Rip van Winkle and find yourself even more removed from the real world.
Of course, if you feel that in order to fulfill your job as a spiritual leader you need more credentials, then you can always go to medical school like Deepak Chopra. Or wrangle a political appointment like Sanjay Gupta (that you can later turn down), or simply wake up one day like Eckart Tolle and be.
That's right BE. Then following your choice to "BE" you can do.
Thus choice A = BE & choice B = Do & choice C = be do & choice D = do be do
Thus following your awakening to being is doing. "God helps those who help themselves".
So make the choice to grow and evolve!
